A wildflower doesn't ask permission to grow. It doesn't need to be planted in a particular place, shaped by someone else's hands, or confined to someone else's garden.
It simply exists. It bends, adapts, blooms, and remains beautifully itself.
I present to you,
The Wildflower
Before my eyes, I see
that this is what it means to be free
To simply be everything that she wants to be.
Everything that helps her breathe.
Like a bird who sings, just as morning brings
Like a wolf who howls, as the night reaches peak
Like a butterfly, who flutters along the whimsical breeze
Like a spirit, who dances along fate’s frequency.
She prances as she awakens her soul.
The moonlight’s glow kisses her cheek
as her truths unfold.
Her third eye reflects her galaxy,
the key to how she perceives
Her eyes simply a reflection
Of the words she’s doesn’t speak
As her intuition unlocks the world’s most quiet mysteries:
Myths and legends,
Corrupted storytelling,
All truthfully revealed under the veil of awareness and reflection.
Misconceptions,
mis-direction,
delusions,
and depressions.
All caused by an addiction of wanting to stay in control
Of someone’s else’s story of her
that she was never meant to hold.
So she loses control.
But with the loss, she broke free.
And with her freedom,
brought peace.
And with peace, followed clarity.
So now, she sees clear.
She dances at her own pace
to both her own glory and fear.
She enjoys pleasure just as much as pain.
She’s both brilliant and rightfully insane.
She’s both angel and demon,
Feminine and masculine,
Ying and Yang
With a scent of Ylang Ylang
So don’t try to tame her if you want her to be caged.
Don’t try to contain her if you’re sensitive to flames
She’s far too wild,
far too brave,
far too resilient to let anyone or anything
stand in her way.
She’s a wildflower.
Of the most rarest,
most majestic species.
She warps,
she blends,
she lets her consciousness ascends
To a place where time neither ends or begins.
She’s free.
In a place of peace.
In a world of wonder.
That only the most genuine eyes can see.
She’s me.
